What is Filmocrème® technology ?

Filmocrème® technology is an innovative emulsion that combines the properties of a cream and those of a Filmogel®.

Emulsion is a process that allows for the fine mixing and stabilization of two solutions that do not normally mix :

• one lipid-based: the oil phase;
• the other water-based: the aqueous phase.

The advantage of an emulsion is that it can combine active ingredients in both oil-based (e.g., butters, oils, waxes) and aqueous (such as certain plant extracts) forms within a single product. The emulsion can therefore have more properties and contain more targeted active ingredients than a cream or gel alone, while respecting the skin's natural hydrolipidic film.

The smooth texture of Filmocrème® makes the emulsion supple and comfortable to apply. Its oils penetrate the epidermis quickly, forming a rich and restorative shield. At the same time, the emulsion's film-forming polymers react by creating a resistant film on the skin. They create a moist environment conducive to skin repair while protecting the skin.

How does Filmocrème® technology work on the skin ?

Filmocrème® technology differs from a classic cream or gel in its dual action:

1. It acts as a cream. The cream nourishes and soothes the skin's surface thanks to its butters, oils, and active ingredients. It promotes skin comfort and treats damaged skin.
2. It acts as a Filmogel®. The film isolates and protects the application area from external aggressors: friction, scratching, dirt, bacteria, etc. It helps restore the skin's natural moisture.

Filmocrème® technology combines these two modes of action to promote the effective penetration of complementary and beneficial active ingredients into the epidermis, while ensuring a long-lasting barrier effect.
