Lipido-colloid technology

Lipidocolloid Technology (LCT) stems from the hospital expertise of our Urgo Medical division and its flagship product, UrgoTul. In cases of superficial first- or second-degree burns, dermabrasions, or superficial wounds (grouts, cuts), this new-generation sterile, flexible, and non-occlusive dressing promotes the multiplication of fibroblasts (cells present in connective tissues that support and protect the skin and enable the formation of new tissue). Upon contact with wound exudate, the active particles in the product form a lipidocolloidal gel, creating conditions favorable to the healing process (moist wound healing). Thanks to its unique composition, the product does not adhere to the wound or its edges, thus allowing for atraumatic removal and preserving newly formed tissue.
