What are the benefits of the technology?
- Small quantity of product, large application area
The foam cream forms upon application. It increases in volume by a factor of 10, allowing the foam cream to cover a large area of skin with a relatively small amount of product. A single dollop of foam cream is sufficient to apply to both feet. Thus, the 125 mL bottle provides long-lasting care.
- Rapid foam absorption
The foam spreads easily and distributes very evenly. The foam formulation has the advantage of being quickly absorbed by the skin.
- Thin, non-occlusive protective film
Foaming cream is an emulsion that takes the form of a foam thanks to the gaseous part of the propellant. The emulsion is composed of two immiscible liquids: an aqueous phase, also called hydrophilic, and an oily phase, also called lipophilic. The two phases mix with the help of a surfactant.
- Durable breathable film
Under microscopic observation, the foam structure is still present after 30 minutes.
