How should you use this product?
1. For people under 16 years of age, the device must be applied by an adult.
2. Open the pouch and remove the film
2. Apply the adhesive patch directly to the skin. Avoid peeling the patch off to reposition it, as this may reduce adhesiveness. Press the patch gently with your fingers - there must be no wrinkles. After opening, the patch is active for approximately 8 hours and heats up slowly. After approximately 30 minutes, the self-heating patch reached its maximum temperature.
3. Remove gently after use.
Do not apply the self-heating patch for more than 8 hours on the same area.

What are the contraindications for URGO self-heating patch? Do not use:
- In children under 12 years of age or during pregnancy or breastfeeding- In people with allergies to adhesive compounds or non-woven substrates or with a history of allergies
- In people with immunodeficiency, unexplained pain, diabetes, circulatory problems, circulatory disorders of the arteries and tissues, or cardiovascular disease. If in doubt, always seek medical advice- In people unable to remove the product without assistance
-Frail or disabled people may be unable to indicate that the patch has reached too high a temperature.
- During sleep, sport, in cases of frostbite or immediately after a bath or sauna: risk of burns.
- Do not apply in situations where heat perception is reduced, on areas insensitive to heat (hypoaesthesia, paralysis, etc.) or in people suffering from heat perception disorders.
- On areas where heat is contraindicated: muscle strain, tear, tendonitis, bruising, etc.
- On pain caused by rheumatoid arthritis or migraines
- On damaged skin: wounds, burns, redness, irritation, oedema, eczema, ulcers, etc.
- On the face or mucous membranes
- Do not use for more than 8 hours in any 24-hour period.
- As an adjunct to other topical products
- Do not use after the expiry date
CAUTION:
Like any heat source, this product may cause burns. Follow the instructions for use carefully.
Consult your doctor if:
- Muscle pain is not relieved or gets worse after a few days
- You need to confirm that treatment is appropriate: in case of diabetes, poor blood circulation, cardiovascular disease, nerve damage, sensory impairment, skin disease, arthritis, osteoarthritis, spondyloarthritis, or chronic muscle pain.

What precautions should you take when using URGO self-heating patch?
- Once the pouch is opened, apply the patch without delay. Reduce physical activity while wearing it to avoid loss of adhesion and detachment.
- Do not reposition or reapply a device that has already been used - adhesion will be reduced
- The heating patch cannot be heated externally.
- If blistering, redness, itching, pain, or other skin reactions occur during use, stop immediately and consult your doctor.
- If in doubt about use consult your doctor beforehand.
- Heat perception and skin adhesion may be reduced in cases of excessive sweating and/or depending on hair density at the application site.
- Do not apply to the same area for more than 8 hours.
- After use: do not incinerate - dispose of with household waste
- Allow air to circulate over the patch: do not wear tight clothing and do not sit or lie on the patch - risk of burns.
- Do not use if the patch is punctured, torn or damaged - risk of burns.
- Do not put in the mouth. The active ingredients contain iron and may be harmful! If swallowed, rinse the mouth several times with water. If the product contacts the eyes, rinse immediately with water. If the patch tears and powder contacts the skin, rinse with water.
IF POWDER IS INGESTED, contact the POISON CONTROL CENTRE immediately.
If the heat sensation is too intense or abnormal, or if discomfort or a skin reaction occurs, remove the patch immediately — always gently.
Do not microwave. Do not cut or fold in half — risk of burns.
Do not wet the patch. Remove before bathing or showering.
