Why choose this product?

URGOSTRIPS sterile adhesive suture strips promote the conditions for aesthetic healing thanks to their high tear resistance, strong adhesion and excellent skin tolerance.

How should you use this product?

This device must be applied by an adult for those under 16 years of age.

1. Clean and disinfect the wound and surrounding skin with an antiseptic solution. Stop any bleeding if necessary.
Dry with a sterile pad to  help the strips adhere.
2. Open the pouch aseptically. If the strips need to be cut, use sterile or alcohol-disinfected scissors.
3. After washing your hands thoroughly with soap and water, apply two strips parallel to the wound, one on each side.
4. Take care not to place your fingers on the part  of the strip that will be in contact with the wound. Apply a third strip perpendicularly to one edge of the wound and, under light traction, apply it to the opposite edge to bring the wound  edges together without overlapping.
5. Apply subsequent strips in the same way until the wound is fully closed. Finish by applying 2 transverse strips to reinforce the closure.

Leave strips in place (3-4 days) until they detach on their own or no longer hold. Replace as directed until fully healed. The wound must remain dry. A superficial wound typically heals within approximately ten days.
