How should you use this product?

1. Clean, disinfect, rinse and dry the wound and surrounding skin thoroughly.
2. Apply the plaster, smoothing the edges carefully.
3. Renew the plaster at least twice a day and after each shower.

To minimize any risk of infection or skin reactions:
Follow the instructions for use carefully. Do not reuse a used plaster. Do not use on wounds longer or wider than the plaster that may extend from it. Do not apply to the eyes, thin skin, or mucous membranes. Do not use after the expiry date. Do not use a damaged product.

Any serious incident related to this product must be reported to URGO HEALTHCARE Laboratories and the National Agency for the Safety of Medicines and Health Products (ANSM).

Why is it necessary to treat a superficial wound?

Although superficial, small wounds require proper care and a clear treatment approach.

First: clean the wound with clean water and disinfect it with an antiseptic. Then, rinse and dry thoroughly.
Next: choose a dressing that protects against dirt and bacteria to prevent contamination.
Finally: to heal without scarring, apply a healing dressing as soon as the wound stops bleeding.

Frequently asked questions

What precautions should you take when using this product?

Not suitable for children under 1 year of age. If there are foreign bodies in the wound, heavy bleeding, a bite or a puncture from a sharp and/or contaminated object or if you see no improvement in healing after 6 days, consult your pharmacist or doctor.
To avoid a tourniquet effect (impaired blood circulation), do not wrap the long dressing too tightly around the finger. If tingling is felt at the fingertip, remove the dressing immediately and apply a new one, taking care not to overtighten it.

Are there any side effects associated with use of URGO Special fingers?

Like any plaster, this product may cause skin reactions such as dermatitis, irritation, or pain on removal.

What formats are included sizes in the URGO Special finger plasters box?

The box contains 16 plasters in two sizes:
- 8 butterfly sizes: 4.3 cm x 7.3 cm
- 8 long straight sizes: 2 cm x 12 cm
