Why treat a superficial wound?

Although superficial, small wounds require proper  care. It is important to follow several steps to treat them.

First: clean the wound with clean water and disinfect it with an antiseptic. Then, rinse and dry thoroughly.
Next: choose a dressing that protects against dirt and bacteria to prevent contamination.
Finally: to heal without scarring, apply a healing dressing as soon as the wound stops bleeding.
